Nyna Cropas earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Alison University in 1970. Her art is a search for relevant and provocative metaphors that serve to increase one's understanding of the active relationship between an individual sapiens sapiens and the multi-dimensional reality-matrix from which s/he has sprung and in which s/he is embedded.

The Cloaking Device series (shown here) is an examination of the eight positions in space and time posited and described by the compass rose, the LoShu square, and the medicine wheel.

This series was made possible through a creation grant from the province of Nova Scotia.

Nyna Cropas a obtenu un baccalauréat ès beaux-arts à Mount Allison University en 1970. Dans son art, elle cherche des métaphores pertinentes et provocatrices qui servent à approfondir la compréhension du rapport actif entre l’individu sapiens sapiens et la matrice-réalité multidimensionnelle dont cet individu est issu et dans lequel il s’inscrit.

La série « Cloaking Device » présentée ici examine les huit positions dans l’espace et dans le temps définies et décrites dans la rose graduée du compas, le carré LoShu et la roue médicinale.

Cette série a été rendue possible par une subvention à la création de la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse.
